Artwork & Branding

Getting your design
branding-ready.

We want your brand on your products looking sharp - and out the door fast. This guide walks you through exactly what JIMBU needs to make that happen, and what we'll do for you if your artwork isn't quite there yet.

Do you have vector artwork?

If yes - perfect. Email it to your JIMBU Account Manager (or attach it when you submit your quote) and we'll take it from there.

If not, don't stress. All we need is a clear image of your logo and we'll happily convert it to vector for you. We'll make sure it looks its best while ticking every box for clean, accurate branding.

Free single-logo redraws.

If you have one straightforward logo that needs to be re-drawn, JIMBU will do it free of charge. More complex artwork is quoted separately by your Account Manager before any work begins - no surprises. Please allow a little extra production time when a redraw is required.

Preferred: vector files

.ai  ·  .eps  ·  .pdf  ·  .svg  ·  .cdr

Vector artwork is built from smooth mathematical lines that separate the different shapes and colours in your design. The big advantage? We can scale your logo up or down - from a pen to a pull-up banner - without it ever becoming blurry, and we can isolate individual colours when a branding method requires it. The result on your product is sharp, defined and on-brand.

  • All fonts converted to outlines (curves)
  • Pantone colours specified where possible
  • Embedded images included (where used)

Raster files: usable, but limited

.jpeg  ·  .png

Raster images - typically photos or scanned graphics - are made from tiny blocks of colour called pixels. They handle photographic detail beautifully but, unlike vectors, they can't be scaled up without becoming blurry or pixelated. For methods like screen print, pad print or embroidery, that usually means we'll need to redraw your logo as a vector before production.

High-resolution PNGs (300dpi or higher, on a transparent background) work for some digital methods like DTF and sublimation. When in doubt, send us what you have and we'll advise.

Pantone colours (PMS)

The Pantone Matching System is the universal language of colour in print - a standardised reference that lets us reproduce your brand colours consistently, every order, every time. If you know your brand's Pantone references, please share them with your Account Manager.

A note on screens: the colour you see on a monitor or phone is rarely an exact match for printed ink, because every screen renders colour differently. Pantone removes that guesswork. Some branding methods (notably embroidery and sublimation) can't perfectly match every Pantone - your Account Manager will guide you to the closest available equivalent.

Fonts & curved text

If your artwork contains text, please tell us the name of the font you've used - or, even better, convert the text to outlines (also called "curving" or "creating outlines") inside your design software before sending the file. This converts the text into a permanent shape so it renders exactly the same on our system as it does on yours, even if we don't have the font installed.

Ready to send your artwork?

Submit your quote and attach your files, or get in touch directly - your JIMBU Account Manager will confirm everything is branding-ready, send a layout proof for sign-off, and only then start production.
